Philip Hope Hunting Tours

booking Terms & Conditions

The deposit is non-refundable. However, we will be helpful as far as possible if our guest wishes to change the dates of the trip, but there is no guarantee for this.

At the time of booking the dates, the deposit must be paid. If a cancellation occurs later than 45 days before the agreed arrival date, the tour operator (PH Venture S.L.U.) has the right to calculate and request the total price of the trip incl. the ordered trophy/trophies as cancellation fee. If the booking is made within 45 days before departure, the full amount will be charged.

Regarding medal trophies; an animal shot will be measured on the spot in the field where the animal is found – so-called ‘green measuring’. The trophy is measured and the points are added up in front of our hunter. If a hunter gets his trophy measured later on in his home country or elsewhere, and this measurement gives a different result, it is still the ‘green measuring’ measurement that counts and determines the total cost of the trophy shot by the hunter.

If the guest shoots an animal that is not found, the guest is required to pay the amount corresponding to the full price of the trophy. In the vast majority of cases, however, our team will find the wounded animal. In the extremely rare cases where the wounded animal cannot be found, it is solely the guide/PH’s assessment of the trophy size of the animal that applies.

The hunter will have at least one fair opportunity per trophy that has been pre-ordered prior to arriving at the hunting destination. The hunt will normally always continue after the first opportunity has passed, but if an opportunity to shoot and kill the pre-ordered trophy for the hunter does not present itself later on during the booked days a full payment for the trip and trophy will still be charged, as long as the hunter has had one fair chance to hunt the pre-ordered trophy. If the hunter fires a round before a pre-approved go-ahead from the guide/PH, this attempt will also count as a fair opportunity. It is the hunters responsibility at all times to follow the guide/PH’s instructions. It is solely the hunters responsibility to ensure that the animal he/she aims at and/or kills is the correct one. In cases where a hunter takes down a larger trophy than desired and without having confirming the animal with the guide/PH or in case of misunderstandings, the hunter will be charged a fee corresponding to the trophy that has been put down. The same goes in situations where a hunter wishes to hunt (for instance) a silver medal trophy. In the event a hunter doesn’t confirm with the guide/PH prior to his/her shot, and the animal shot turns out to have smaller trophy score than initially desired and pre-booked, the client will be charged in full for the animal/trophy pre-booked prior to the trip.

In situations where a client has pre-booked (for instance) a silver medal trophy, and the hunter is waiting correctly for the go-ahead from the guide/PH, and the guide/PH says ‘go ahead’, and the trophy shot turns out to be (for instance) a bronze medal trophy, the client will only be asked to pay for a bronze medal, and will always be compensated for the smaller trophy shot than pre-ordered. The compensation will be made via bank transfer no later than 14 bank days after the hunt has ended.

It is solely the responsibility of the hunter to inquire before booking the trip about the conditions of the hunt and the degree of difficulty of the hunt. It is at all times the hunters own responsibility to be in proper physical shape so that the hunt can be carried out as planned. If the hunter falls ill, is injured or, due to a lack of physical ability, wishes to end the hunt early, the total amount of the trip and the pre-booked trophy/trophies will be charged in full to the client. If the hunter cannot see the trophy pointed out to him/her by the guide/PH within two minutes from the animal stands still with the broad side to the hunter and within 150 meters, and the animal then disappears, this as well will count as a fair opportunity.

If a hunter borrows/rents equipment during the trip, e.g. rifle, it is at all times the hunters responsibility to look after this during the hunt while the equipment is in his/hers possession. If the hunter damages equipment, by accident or none deliberately, the hunter will be asked to pay a complete compensation for the damaged equipment as per new purchase price in the nearest physical or online store in Malaga, Spain.

Force majeure: If weather conditions make a successful hunt impossible one or more days during the trip and the guest does not manage to harvest the pre-ordered trophy/trophies because of this, this does not justify a refund to the guest, either for the trip or the pre-ordered trophy/trophies. We will always be accommodating to our hunter in a way so that the hunter has the opportunity to join us on an equal trip once again under the same price conditions. This should be understood in the way that during the trip pre-booked, where hunting is not possible, the guest only pays for the daily rate and the various trip costs, that is listed as ‘not included/excluded‘ in the offer agreed with the client. However, this only applies if the guest wishes to book a new equal trip, hunting the same pre-ordered trophy as initially, during the same hunting season and year as the initial trip was planned to take place. If it is not possible for the hunter to go once again on another trip during the same hunting season, the same year, we will, if possible, accommodate the hunter the following year. Our cost price of trophies often increases, and sometimes the prices increase significantly from season to season. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot provide a guarantee for this. If the customer does not wish to confirm new dates under these conditions, it is our right to charge full payment for the trip as well as the pre-ordered trophy/trophies.

Hunting license and permits: To acquire the required local hunting license and insurance, the hunter must send a copy of passport and hunting license no later than 30 days before the booked trip.

Once the deposit is paid by the hunter, and thus booking the trip, the above conditions are accepted.

NOTE: Available licenses, dates and prices stated in any previously sent offer and/or preliminarily agreed dates and prices of trophies can only be considered guaranteed and agreed upon once payment corresponding to the invoiced amount to the hunter has been received in full by PH Ventures S.L.U.

PH Ventures S.L.U., our staff as well as our external partners take the necessary security measures at all times to maintain the customer’s safety. PH Ventures S.L.U. does not provide advice for this either before, during or after the trip.
